2010 Wimbledon Predictions
So who will win the coveted Wimbledon tennis trophies this year? You can never be quite sure who will end up being crowned the winner of the men’s or the ladies’ tournaments, but there are always predictions to be made.
In the men’s game the same familiar names are there once again – Federer, Murray and Nadal. But will Nadal manage to remain injury free, and will Federer be able to continue with the form he displayed in Australia when he won the Open earlier in 2010? Murray has yet to win a Grand Slam event but tennis fans in the UK will no doubt be cheering him on as always.
In the women’s side of the draw we have got the two Williams sisters to contend with – Serena, who lifted the plate in 2009, and Venus, who has previously won on five occasions. But could we also see a potential winner in Kim Clijsters, who has returned to tennis after previously retiring? She did after all win the US Open very soon after returning to professional tennis last year.
These are just some of the names you might wish to consider betting on in the run up to Wimbledon 2010. Of course you may also decide to bet on the outcome of a particular match. Do you have a favourite player that you would like to give your backing to, and do you think there will be a surprise winner from either the men’s or women’s draw this time around?
