Rafael Nadal beats Roger Federer at ATP Madrid

The two Wimbledon 2009 men’s finalists Rafael Nadal and Roger “the Fed express” Federer went head to head in this week’s Spanish ATP Madrid event. Federer was the bookies favorite, however Nadal, went on to defeat the world No 1 (and possibly the greatest tennis player ever) from 4-2 down in the tie-break, winning the shoot-out 7-5.. Immediately after his victory, Nadal was back face down on the clay again, kissing the court.
Nada wins ATP, Wimbledon odds will change!
Nadal has proved beyond doubt that he is one of the premiere clay-court players ever. The resident of Majorca is champion in both ATP Monte Carlo and ATP Rome, completing the treble with his victory in Madrid.

Nadal is going to take some stopping in Paris, which is host to the 2nd grand slam of the season, which begins on Sunday. Wimbledon Betting odds are likely to move significantly in the coming weeks as the tournament approaches; perhaps we will be lucky enough to see a rematch of last year’s final.
